Lucknow, December 25 (UNI) On the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid homage by offering floral tributes at his statue in the Lok Bhawan complex on Wednesday, saying that Atal Ji’s towering personality and remarkable achievements continue to inspire the nation.
Besides Chief Minister Yogi, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Cabinet Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, and Cabinet Minister Swatantra Dev Singh also paid their respects to Atal Ji on this occasion.
After paying tribute, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that it is a matter of great fortune for Uttar Pradesh that this state is the ancestral land of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A National Inspiration Site has been constructed in his honor in Lucknow, which will continue to inspire future generations towards national service.
The Chief Minister said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s entire life was dedicated to the nation, focusing on the development and good governance of the country.
He added that it is the responsibility of everyone to keep Atal Ji’s memories alive. He had a special affection for Lucknow and, while representing Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha, he gave a new direction to the country.
Emphasizing that Atal Ji will always remain a source of inspiration for all, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his best wishes to the people of the state on Good Governance Day, saying that a strong, prosperous, and self-reliant India can be built only by following Atal Ji’s ideals and vision.
